Surprising Redesign

It is about a couture garment for non-conformist women who want to have a surprising, original, unique appareance, all these without any investments. Moreover, it represents an excellent alternative to the existing wardrobe.
Source of materials:
All components have been carefully selected only from among personal discarded items.
The complete set contains: approximative:
85% - an old -fashioned umbrella in the '80s style,
3% - thin wire for handbag mounting and modelling,
12% textile fabric to complete the couture garment.
The textile fabric ensures the unity of the three-piece set (to be found in the dress, handbag and bracellet).
The purpose was to make up this couture garment using only old, useless, abandoned elements, ready to be chucked away, or fabric remains from other works. To make the long story shorter, to be a "non-cost" investment. As all these components have been selected out of my private storage room, no "fuel consumption" whatsoever was n eeded, therefore the efficient collection is guarranteed. It was also very challenging for me to pick up inspiring items only from all the useless old things found in my house and design and turn them into something completely new creating a new use and giving a new life to what used to be an umbrella.
Objective:
To re-think the umbrella under new shapes so as to have a wearable, practical, aesthetically interesting couture garment, using as much as possible the original piece (the umbrella). Therefore I used 99.9% of the old umbrella to design 3 garments: a dress, a handbag and a bracellet.
Message:
"Do not chuck away the old umbrella! What are you then going to wear on Saturday evening?"
"Take your old umbrella out for clubbing!"
"Do not dump your future outfit in the street!"

I think this is a cool and unique dress. I'm not so sure about the handbag. It looks as if it could hurt somebody.

i like the hard shelled exhaustiveness in this design effort that yields a soft dress. its complete and transformed, well done.

I love this. Very well done, love the colors in the umbrella too and your use of the pattern. The handbag is crazy, I'd definitely leave it sitting as a home decorative item. I like it all.

This looks couture. I love the fact you used all aspects of the umbrella and created acessories.
