I got inspiration from origami. It is very beautiful art. Folding art is common for children. 'A beautiful origami can be created by any paper.' It is the same theory on this competition. I want to bring this message back, thus I chose Origami as my theme.

Designing a huge dramatic umbrella garment could draw great attention but I would prefer designing a ready to wear umbrella garment with interesting detail as it could be a chance for people to wear it as daily wear.

My collection is called 'Folding Umbrella' which inspired by origami. Collar and waist are the key details for my design. I used the idea of folding paper on the collar and cutting holds on the waist. A hourly glass shaped is formed. The umbrella garment is designed for the customers who love fashion and like trying new things. They could wear the garment for work especially on the raining day. The 1 piece dress is fully lined which is comfortable to wear. Blue and black are the main colour for the design.

I also design a umbrella frame decorated hat to go with the collection.
