Umbrella Dress (8 Year Old Entrant)
my dress was drawn and designed by me. i designed this because my aunt works in a design company, and i love to go to work with her. my dress is a black dress with flames of fire coming up on the skirt and it goes up the front. it looks like the fire going up a black wall. and it looks like the stripes on a racing car. the dress is very sexy and hot. i added the green at the bottom becuase i think green looks very nice with red and yellow. my mom says all the time that black makes everybody look sexy and skinny. that is why i made the top part of my dress black. when i win this contest i will use my grandmothers black umbrella, and my moms black umbrella to make the top part. i will cut the neck in a v shape, and i will make it a no long sleeve. the bottom part of my dress will be like an upside down umbrella. i will use my hot wheels umbrella that my grandma bought me and cut it to make the flames. and i will ask my friend if he has a green umbrella for the bottom. i am very happy to do this and i will ask my family to help me sew my dress. thank you.

like the youthful effort and im big into flames lately since my friend Mark Cunningham sported his Flames and Dolphins Aloha shirt two weeks ago on a surf trip, the sketch is appealing. the plan here seems to cut up functional umbrallas, and misses the contest objective.

Great to inspire young creatives, but not quite on the mark...keep seeking the dream to the designer...
