Re-used Umbella Design

Material : Used Umbrella ( waterproof fabric ), metal frame.
Basically, all the material will be made from used umbrella, which mean the chances of getting the same exact color or pattern for the material is very slim. That is why in my design here, I did not really put the detail for the pattern, although I notice that the black and the plaid pattern umbrella are very common, and I think it will be a very nice combination for my designs. Used umbrella also limit the size of the material, so I use the patching technique to put the fabric together. I also realize that the waterproof material are not really comfortable to the skin by itself, so for all my design other than the Jeans pants ( Image dsgn2f.gif ) and Capri (image dsgn3f.gif ), I use a cotton voile to layer the inside part. For the coat in design 5 (image dsgn5f.gif), I will use a thicker cotton layer.
Design 1 (image dsgn1f.gif) is a two piece outfit, jacket and skirt. The available fabric will be patch together before sewn according to the pattern. I prefer to use 3 color for this design,
2 plain color, and 1 with pattern.
Design 2 (image dsgn2f.gif) is a boot cut jeans, this will be perfect to wear during rainy or snowy season. The waterproof material easy to clean, dirt don’t really stick to it, so you don’t have to worry of those mud spot on the leg part of your pants anymore. It can bee any type of jeans, but I prefer boot cut cause it really flattering and looks good on boots and I love boots.
Design 3 (image dsgn3f.gif) is a Capri jeans, in my opinion heavy material like jeans is the best to balance this kind of fabric. The hat has 3 dome like accent, which will be nice if it using 3 different color also. The hat will be layered with cotton. The hand bag/ purse made with the same material, using the folding umbrella metal frame for the purses frame. Layer the inside with velvet kind of fabric. Add a chain and clip button.
Design 4 (image dsgn4f.gif) is slip dress, with sewn in bubble pants, I call it bubble pants because it is kind of bubbly given the effect of the rubber leg. With a soft voile cotton and soft stretch thread, this design will be very comfortable. The waist is also sewn with stretch thread. The neck is cut low to the middle of the chest. There are ribbon accents on the shoulder. No need for buttons or zippers, you can slip in and out of it easily.
Design 5 (image dsgn5af.gif, dsgn5bf.gif) is a coat. With the material we use, this coat will be very useful to protect your nice outfit from the water splash, and it also looks nice. Wearing it with a dress or pants will also look great.

I especially like the coat and I like the idea of using plaid umbrellas.

I'm not really sure how this material will work in jean form. However, I do like the idea of the jacket with plaid designs.

Would love to see this actualized. Hard to tell from drawing, but could be cute.
