Timeless Transformation
I designed these garments to remind people of the unhappy umbrellas, and to be timeless - the similarity between eternity and a pre-owned umbrella is that the both of them can be found in landfills. As to functions, each design features the merit of an umbrella; durable steel frames of an umbrella which are essential for creating these new silhouettes, wide pleats of an umbrella which give people more freedom of movement, water repellent fabric and last but not least, its light weight.

timeless transformation is abstract and conceptual. I like the furry legs on the sketches but it reminds me of confusing assembly instructions which always stirs contemplation. i could not find the core values of the contest criteria and it felt sad not optimistic enough.

Again, not sure on how they wll collect source material. From the drawings...looks like the designs could be amazing, modern and fresh
