Umbrellas are nearly unchanged from the time they were invented. They are by far not the most efficient rain protection and are often forgotten or willingly not taken due to their size. Many times rain catches us without one.

Garbage bags are practically a bought peace of trash just calling to be used for other than carrying trash. The polymeric material they are made of, offers numerous possibilities.

Rainbag is a hybrid between a garbage bag and an anorak. This simple, lo-cost production peace is as small as a folded plastic bag (fits in a regular pocket), offers rain and wind protection and ends up as a garbage bag when it is no longer needed. The only intervention we need to do, is to tie the corner with the face opening, so the trash does not fall out. Rainbag is made of a recyclable polymer (PE-LD "“ lo density polyethylene) so it is even more environmental friendly.
