Most of the ideas behind this cradle to cradle solution is submitted with the JPEGS. The main idea is more about the process than the form and or function. Both the form and the function of this umbrella are traditional.

However, the process based on the idea of using tessellation patterns to enable the re-utilization of pre-existing products, such has the military poncho. The material is high grade, and often discarded. I naturally started with the poncho based on my own military experiences, however, this solution is more open to other materials.

Hopefully, with this solution we can eliminate products bound for landfills and give them a second life.
