The umbrella proposed is basically composed of three parts:

1. The grip: made in rubber to best fit the costumer hand and give adequate ergonomic characteristics; inspired in the structure of a Brazilian Three-banded-Armadillo

2. The canopy: impermeable layer made in nylon, to avoid the costumer to get wet;

3. The structure, made in aluminum to give both resistance and light weight, is composed of a handle and 8 thin beams. The beams are disposed in a structure like a fan, where each beam is overlapped to the other when the umbrella is closed, and they get radially separated when the umbrella is opened. In the open operation the beams are turned. The open system consists of a central axis, in this case the handle, and the pines in the original position (when this it closed) that turn 360º around themselves; around the Umbrella cable.
